Saudi papers last week described al-Qathafi as "insane" and " tubborn" because of what al-Riyadh paper described as a Libyan conspiracy to assassinate crown prince Abdullah.
Replying to reports that Egypt is making mediation between the two states, Qathafi said that there is no need for mediation and there is noting worthy that between Libya and Riyadh.

The Libyan leader continued his criticism to the Arab League and the lack of its member states of what he described the unity of ranks in the Middle East. He said that the relations between Libya and Italy are better in thousand of times that Libya's relations with her sister Egypt." He added that the relations between Tunis and Germany is much better from its relations ( Tunisia) with Libya.
In the same interview, Qathafi warned against the withdrawal of the Syrian forces from Lebanon might lead to the collapse of conditions in the country. He added he refuses, in principle, the existence of foreign forces in another country.
He called on countries which own atomic bomb, especially the US and Israel to get rid of them and ruled out that Iran owns nuclear weapons.
The Libyan leader ( 61) year old refused the assumptions that he is preparing his son Seif al-Slam ( 32 year old) to succeed him in power. He said that the principle of inheritance is not in the thinking of Libya.
