This school needs an enema

Yes, you may notice today’s title harkens back to Jack Nicholson as The Joker in Tim Burton’s first Batman movie. I’ve always liked that line, but I rarely use it. After all, he said it already. I’d need a purpose for it.

And one high school in Southern California has given me a glorious reason to do just that.

Allow me to introduce you to Torrey Pines High, and now let’s understand just why you need to be introduced.

From La Jolla Village News :

A federal lawsuit accuses Torrey Pines High School administrators of retaliating against two students for expressing pro-Trump views at an anti-ICE rally on campus and falsely reporting one of them to police, leading to an overnight psychiatric hold.

In an Aug. 19 federal complaint, one student, referred to as M.F. in the complaint, says he and a co-plaintiff, referred to as A.F., attended the Feb. 6 anti-ICE demonstration to express their contrary viewpoints.

To demonstrate that, M.F. carried a small printout displaying the letters “LGBT” — above each letter were images of the Statue of Liberty for the “L”, a rifle for the “G”, a glass of beer for the “B”, and a photo of President Trump representing the “T.”

Following the rally, M.F. returned to class still holding onto the flyer. His teacher, according to the lawsuit, became upset at seeing the flyer and immediately left the classroom.

Three days later, the lawsuit alleges that Torrey Pines High Assistant Principal
Angela Guerrero called both students to the office to inform them they were receiving two days of detention for bringing the flyers to the demonstration and for “frightening” other students.

It sounds like the teacher was pissy because the kids weren’t toeing the approved political line, so they decided to claim students were scared by it.

Personally, I think people need to get the hell over the image of guns and thinking just seeing a picture is some kind of threat.

But one of the students wasn’t finished being harassed.

That same week, M.F. was again called to the office, this time alone and to face more serious allegations.

Inside the vice principal’s office, M.F. was accused of making “disturbing searches” on a public computer at the school, including “how to load a Glock,” “how to load a magazine” and “how to dispose of a body.”

The student denies looking up any of that, and why would he need to? Everyone has smartphones these days, really, which means he could use that and it would never be traced to him by the school.

It’s all too convenient, too. “How to dispose of a body” is something that either a mystery writer looks up or someone who is completely retarded would search for. There are more subtle ways to look up information, up to and including using AI to search for you.

No, this was personal. This was about punishing these two kids for refusing to be good little leftists as they’ve been indoctrinated to be. In fact, more evidence stems from the school’s actions that followed.

The next day, five or six police officers came to the school to question the kid. His parents weren’t allowed to see him, instead making him speak with a crisis social worker because the teacher got butthurt and used the “I feel threatened” card.

And then?

Police removed M.F. and transported him to a mental health facility where he was held overnight on a 5150 psychiatric hold. Meanwhile, a police search of M.F.’s house and room, according to the federal complaint, was fruitless.

The kicker here? This isn’t the first time the school has screwed the pooch over free speech like this recently. Maybe not to the point of putting a kid in a psychiatric facility regardless of his parents' wishes or even the facts of the case, but still…

In April, FIRE announced they’d won their fight against this same school in a similar situation.

After intervention by the Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression, a California school district expunged its suspension of a high school junior for putting up a pro-ICE poster.

On Feb. 6, hundreds of students at Torrey Pines High School peacefully staged a mid-school- day walkout to protest ICE and U.S. immigration enforcement policy. They held posters displaying statements including, “If You’re an I.C.E. Agent Ya Mom’s a Hoe!!,” “FUCK ICE,” and “ICE is KKK spelled differently.”

Yet, two weeks later, the school suspended a student for posting pro-ICE flyers reading “We ❤️ I.C.E. – Real Americans.” The school claimed the flyers, which caused no disruption at the school — and were displayed in a common area where other students have posted political material — nevertheless constituted “harassment” and “intimidation.”

They did reverse the suspension, but this is a different case entirely. Both stem from anti-ICE protests, but the response is just different enough to know that they didn’t learn their lesson the first damn time.

So when I saw that the school needs an enema, it’s because the school clearly needs something to wash out all of the crap that serves as the school’s administration.

This is leftist authoritarianism at its “finest.”

If you want to use foul language to describe federal agents, that’s cool, but if you support ICE, you’re a threat to everything they hold dear and should be punished.

I honestly cannot hate these people enough. I don’t like hating anyone, but they deserve nothing less than that. If I hated them as much as they deserve, tomorrow’s post would be typed by a pile of ashes, and I have plans.
