Five Palestinians have been injured by marauding Israeli settlers in the occupied West Bank, as residents continue to face a wave of attacks in the occupied territory.
Jewish settlers ran over four Palestinian workers heading to work near the village of Wadi Fukin, west of Bethlehem, who sustained cuts and bruises in the assault. Settlers ran over another Palestinian man after Israeli police shot him in the leg.
Israeli settlers torched a house in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron , in the early hours of Tuesday and spray-painted racist slogans on walls, in an area where Palestinians have been subjected to a wave of terror by Israeli occupation forces.
It comes as Israeli settlers attacked a school in the northern Jordan Valley last night, storming the school grounds, vandalising water and electricity networks and other facilities, as well as stealing belongings.
Al-Maleh School, which serves students from Bedouin communities , has witnessed repeated attacks by Israeli settlers in recent months, with classes now being held remotely due to the danger to children.
The United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres condemned the "near daily" settler attacks in the territory, saying they "have become increasingly severe, resulting in deaths, injuries, significant property damage".
"The Secretary General reiterates that Israeli settlements and related infrastructure have no legal validity," Guterres' spokesperson Stephane Dujarric said during a news conference, adding the attacks are also "in flagrant violation of international law, including applicable UN resolutions".
Dujarric also highlighted Israel's responsibility, as the occupying power, to protect Palestinians and hold perpetrators to account.
The occupied West Bank has seen a severe rise in settler violence since the start of 2026, according to the United Nations, with a monthly average of over 100 Palestinians injured and 600 displaced by settler attacks and intimidation.
At least eight Palestinians have been killed by Israeli settlers since the start of the year, with the UN recording at least 37 Israeli settler attacks against Palestinians across 29 communities, causing casualties, property damage and displacement in March.
Israeli forces detained five Palestinians in the Husan village, and another two in the West Bank on their way to work.
Israeli forces detained two Palestinians in Nablus after raiding the city, searching homes, and seizing one of their vehicles.
The forces also raided homes near Jerusalem and handed out eviction orders to seven homes in the eastern neighbourhood of Qalandiya village, ordering them to leave and demolish their home within 21 days under the guise of the building being constructed without a permit.
Israeli forces and settlers have killed at least 1,133 Palestinians since the outbreak of Israel's genocidal war in October 2023, injuring a further 11,700 and detaining almost 22,000.
Over 1,500 Palestinians have been displaced in 2026, adding to the almost 40,000 that were forcibly displaced since the outbreak of the war to 2025.
