WEST BANK, (PIC)
Settler attacks in the West Bank are escalating at an unprecedented pace, amid direct protection from the Israeli occupation forces, in a scene that has come to embody a daily reality lived by Palestinians between attacks on lives and property, storming houses, stealing livestock, and imposing forced displacement on population communities, especially in Masafer Yatta, the Jordan Valley, and the southern areas of al-Khalil.
In light of this escalation, human rights and international warnings continue regarding the danger of Israeli policies that push towards emptying large areas of their Palestinian residents, while calls are growing to hold those responsible for these violations accountable.
Masafer Yatta: Organized terrorism under the protection of the occupation
Masafer Yatta has turned into one of the most targeted areas in the West Bank, with repeated settler attacks that include assaulting residents, storming homes, destroying property, stealing livestock, and forcing Palestinian families to leave, under protection provided by the occupation forces to the attackers.
Observers believe that what is happening in the region goes beyond being frictions between settlers and Palestinians, to reflect an organized pattern of attacks aimed at imposing a new reality on the ground through terrorism and displacement.

Public incitement to displacement
In the context of the escalating discourse of incitement, the settler Elisha Yared published a tweet on the X platform in which he called for carrying out attacks and displacing Palestinians from the West Bank, requesting the reading of the weekly Torah portion from chapter 33, which includes a call for displacement, in a move that reflects the escalation of the discourse calling for targeting Palestinians and emptying their lands.
United Nations: Escalating displacement and worsening humanitarian risks
The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, OCHA, confirmed that settler attacks, along with occupation measures, contributed to the high rate of displacement of Palestinians in the West Bank.
The office explained that the continuation of the aggression on the West Bank refugee camps, the tightening of restrictions on movement, demolitions, settlement expansion, and settler violence are all factors that led to the displacement of more Palestinians, exacerbated protection risks, and reduced access to housing, livelihoods, and basic services.
OCHA pointed out that demolitions since the beginning of this July led to the displacement of 67 Palestinians and the demolition of 24 facilities, including two facilities funded by donors to support needy Palestinians.
It also explained that settler attacks and demolitions since the beginning of this year have caused the displacement of more than 3,200 Palestinians, at an average of 17 people per day, which is double the rate recorded during the past three years.
The UN office renewed its call to respect international humanitarian law and ensure the protection of civilians and civilian infrastructure.
Simultaneous attacks in Nablus, al-Khalil, and Ramallah
Several areas in the West Bank witnessed, on Friday, a series of new settler attacks, which resulted in injuries among Palestinians.
In the town of Beit Furik, east of Nablus, two citizens were injured after being beaten by settlers who attacked citizens and farmers, before the occupation forces stormed the town, fired bullets and gas canisters, and closed the Beit Furik checkpoint to vehicle traffic.
In Khirbet Asfi in Masafer Yatta, south of al-Khalil, nine Palestinians, including four women, were injured following an attack launched by settlers who tried to steal sheep belonging to the Awad family, while the occupation forces arrested the child Muhammad Ismail Awad, 15 years old, after storming the area to protect the settlers and suppress the residents.
A number of citizens, including children and women, were also injured in another settler attack on the Hawara area in Masafer Yatta, which coincided with the occupation forces arresting a number of citizens.
In the same context, the human rights organization Al-Baydar reported the injury of a number of citizens, including children and women, following an attack carried out by groups of settlers on a Bedouin community, confirming the continuation of attacks targeting Bedouin communities, their residents, and their property.

Hamas: Settler terrorism is an official policy
The Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, welcomed the report of Amnesty International, which documented Israel’s crime of ethnic cleansing against Palestinians in the West Bank.
The Movement confirmed that settler terrorism is not individual acts, but rather part of a systematic campaign officially led and supported by the occupation government, considering that the silence of the international community and its failure to stop these violations constitute a stain of shame and gives Israel cover to continue its crimes.
Hamas demanded the activation of legal prosecution of the Israeli leaders before the International Criminal Court, the imposition of deterrent sanctions on them, and the severing of relations with Israel.
Numbers reveal the widening circle of attacks
Official statistics reflect the scale of the continuous escalation in the West Bank, as the first half of the year 2026 recorded about 11,074 attacks carried out by the occupation forces and settlers, according to the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission.
According to the commission, settlers carried out 3,488 attacks since the beginning of the year, which has resulted in the martyrdom of at least 17 Palestinians, and the displacement of 18 Bedouin communities completely and eight communities partially, in addition to the establishment of 42 new settlement outposts, the majority of which are pastoral, including four outposts established on lands classified as B.
A reality heading towards more displacement
With the continuation of daily attacks, the expansion of settlements, and the increasing operations of demolition and displacement, Palestinians and human rights institutions warn that the West Bank is witnessing a systematic policy aimed at undermining the Palestinian presence, in the absence of effective international measures to ensure the protection of civilians and stop the continuous violations.
