Two Palestinians were killed and several others were injured on Thursday evening by Israeli occupation forces in northern Gaza, raising the number of people killed since the morning hours to four.
A local source said two civilians were killed and others wounded after Israeli aircraft targeted a group of residents on Al-Nuzha Street in Jabalia al-Balad, north of Gaza.
Sources confirmed the killing of young Palestinian Tamer Iyad al-Matouq in the Israeli strike on Jabalia, just two days after his father was killed.
Earlier, another Palestinian was killed after an Israeli quadcopter drone dropped a bomb on him in Old Gaza Street in Jabalia al-Balad in northern Gaza.
Another Palestinian also died after suffering critical injuries from Israeli sniper fire near an UNRWA clinic in Jabalia refugee camp.
Meanwhile, another Palestinian was injured by Israeli gunfire in the Al-Salatin area west of Beit Lahia in northern Gaza.
Two more people were injured earlier Thursday in an Israeli strike near the Bani Suheila roundabout east of Khan Yunis in southern Gaza.
Israeli forces also demolished several homes east of Gaza City, while Israeli artillery shelling targeted the northern parts of the city.
In central Gaza, Israeli tanks opened fire east of the Bureij refugee camp as artillery shelling struck the town of Juhr al-Dik.
Various parts of Gaza witnessed artillery bombardment, heavy gunfire from Israeli military vehicles, and further demolition of civilian homes since dawn.
Gaza’s Ministry of Health announced earlier today that hospitals across the Strip received two bodies and 24 injured people over the past 48 hours.
According to cumulative figures, the death toll from the Israeli war on Gaza since October 7, 2023, has risen to 72,744. Israeli violations of the ceasefire have continued for the 217th consecutive day since October 10, 2025, including airstrikes, artillery shelling, gunfire from military vehicles, demolition of homes and civilian facilities, and attacks targeting residential areas, displacement tents, and shelters.
On the humanitarian level, the Palestinian Ministry of Health said that the total number of people killed since October 7, 2023, has reached 72,740, with 172,555 injured, including critical and very critical cases.
Israeli occupation forces continue daily violations of the fragile ceasefire agreement reached in Sharm el-Sheikh through Arab and American mediation on October 10, 2025, after more than two years of Gaza genocide.
