The Israeli occupation forces continued violating the Gaza ceasefire agreement on Tuesday through gunfire, artillery shelling, and demolition operations across several areas of the Strip.

Local sources reported that Israeli military vehicles opened heavy fire east of Khan Yunis in southern Gaza while artillery shelling targeted the area. Israeli drones were also seen flying at low altitude over the city.

Israeli forces additionally fired smoke grenades and heavy gunfire near Salah al-Din Road at the Bani Suheila roundabout east of Khan Yunis.

In Gaza City, Israeli helicopters flew at low altitude over both the eastern and western parts of the city, heightening tensions among residents.

Israeli military vehicles also opened fire near the Wadi Gaza bridge north of the Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza. No injuries were immediately reported.

The latest incidents follow a series of deadly attacks on Monday in which five Palestinians, including a woman and two children, were killed in separate Israeli strikes across Gaza.

Among those killed were nurse Mohammed Al-Habil and his child after an Israeli drone strike targeted a home in the Abu Iskandar area of Gaza City’s Sheikh Radwan neighborhood. Palestinian Saleh Ramadan Khalifa was also killed when an Israeli strike hit a sewing tent near Al-Razi School in the Nuseirat refugee camp.

Medical sources reported that Nadia Kamal Ayyash was killed after an area adjacent to her home in Al-Zawayda, central Gaza, came under attack.

In another incident, child Ryan Bahaa Abu Al-Ajeen died from his injuries after Israeli forces opened fire on him and his father and detained them in the Wadi Al-Salqa area southeast of Deir al-Balah. The father was wounded and later released alongside his critically-wounded son.

Israeli forces also continued artillery shelling east of Khan Yunis and reportedly expanded the so-called “Yellow Line” by moving concrete barriers farther west around the city.

Nine Palestinians were killed on Sunday in separate attacks across Gaza.

According to Palestinian sources, Israeli forces have continued violating the ceasefire through airstrikes, artillery attacks on areas sheltering displaced civilians, demolition operations inside the “Yellow Line”, and ongoing restrictions on the movement of goods, humanitarian aid, and travel.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health reported that since the ceasefire took effect in October 2025, 995 Palestinians have been killed, 3,144 injured, and 784 bodies recovered from previously inaccessible areas.

The overall death toll in Gaza since October 7, 2023, has risen to 73,006 killed, while 173,252 others were wounded, according to Palestinian health authorities.
