IOF escalates raids across West Bank

WEST BANK, (PIC)

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) continued raids and military incursions across several areas of the West Bank on Thursday evening, while Israeli settlers carried out a series of attacks in the Bethlehem area, including an incursion into the village of Kisan and acts of intimidation against residents.

In Bethlehem, the IOF chased Palestinian workers in the Wadi al-Hummus area between Dar Salah and Sur Baher, firing tear gas and stun grenades at them.

Meanwhile, groups of Israeli settlers entered Kisan village east of Bethlehem using private vehicles, ATVs, and bicycles, spreading through the village streets while carrying out acts of intimidation and harassment.

In Nablus, Israeli military vehicles entered the Ta’awun neighborhood and the New Nablus area, raiding a home and conducting field interrogations before withdrawing.

The IOF troops also entered the village of Tayasir east of Tubas, deploying troops and military patrols throughout the area. No arrests were reported.

Settler attacks against Palestinians and their property also intensified, including arson, assaults, and livestock theft.

In Ramallah governorate, settlers attacked farmers and shepherds in several locations. In the village of Shuqba, settlers set fire to multiple vehicles and assaulted football coach Youssef Abdel Razek near a local sports field.

Witnesses reported that the fires spread across large parts of the village, prompting ongoing efforts to contain the flames.

In Sinjil, north of Ramallah, settlers attacked Palestinian vehicles after residents confronted them and prevented the theft of a farmer’s sheep.

Additional settler incursions were reported in Abu Falah, Deir Dibwan, and Burqa east of Ramallah, where settlers carried out acts of vandalism and intimidation.

Farmers east of Idhna, west of al-Khalil, were also attacked, with settlers reportedly forcing them off their land and stealing livestock.

In southern Nablus, settlers accompanied by Israeli forces prevented landowners from accessing their property in the Ras al-Ain area of Qusra.

A separate group of settlers entered the Khan al-Ahmar community east of Occupied Jerusalem, grazing livestock on Palestinian land and near residential areas.

The Al-Baydar Human Rights Organization said the incident was part of a broader pattern of violations targeting Bedouin communities, including restrictions on movement and attacks against residents.

Later in the evening, settlers again entered Kisan village, spreading through the area on ATVs, bicycles, and private vehicles while continuing acts of intimidation against local residents.
