Two Somali men have been shot dead at their shop in Worcester.
It’s believed two suspects entered the Mockingbird Street store on Wednesday night; one then opened fire.
One of the Somali nationals died on the scene. A second man passed away in hospital on Thursday morning.
Two others remain in a serious condition in Worcester Hospital.
The police’s Mzikayise Moloi said they have ruled out xenophobia.
“This incident is not related to any xenophobic attack. There were 2 guys involved in this shooting – one coloured guy and one Bangladeshi – according to the Somali guy who saw them when they entered the shop.�
