(SomaliNet) At least one person was killed and three others were wounded in a renewed clashes that happened in north of Mogadishu, the capital of Somalia on Friday – as the wholly month the Ramadan enters its second day.
The clashes came when the security forces clashed with the residents around SOS mother and child hospital where five policemen were killed late yesterday.
The government troops raided the nearby villages opening indiscriminate gunfire killing one civilian and wounding three others, according to local witnesses.
The incident when militants threw grenade bombs at police force pursuing those who behind the yesterday’s ambush attack in which the government lost soldiers and weapons.
There was immediate casualty on the soldiers who conducting house-to-house search in Suuqa village where the insurgents actively operate.
Ethiopian forces are also involving in search operations in Huriwa district but no details were given whether they found weapons in their mission or not.
