Washington to form militia alliance in Somalia to fight terrorism


Washington 07 April, 06 ( Sh.M.Network) US government said that its trying to get allied with Somali militias who would fight against what they called terrorist groups in parts of Somalia.

Western experts warned that Somalia might turn into like the current Iraq, which it is in circle of violence and they (the experts) stressed that they are much concern over the activities of Islamic militants who are believed to have strengthened in Somalia for the last decade.

Assistant of US foreign secretary to Africa, Ms Jendayi Frazer said the terrorist activities in east Africa may particularly threaten the US and international forces against terrorism.

Ms Frazer pointed out that Washington searches in Somalia collaborators those it said would participate in the US led campaign against Somalia terrorists.

Al-Khaleej press in UAE said that the US government, which already supported counter terrorism alliance and at the same time it, is now attempting to have militia friends who fight harder against Islamic courts in Mogadishu.

Meanwhile the US government were said have failed to get public support after it came to know that Washington was behind the formation of counter terrorism alliance in Mogadishu.
