Israeli plane crashes in West Bank

An Israeli state-of the-art reconnaissance plane crashed Tuesday in the West Bank before commencing a spying mission, due to what’s been described as technical problems, Israeli military sources said on Wednesday.

"A small military reconnaissance drone smashed Tuesday morning in an Israeli settlement near the green line separating the 1948 occupied lands and the 1967 occupied lands as the army formed a committee to investigate the incident", the sources said.

Among the features of the plane, spying, aerial survey, specifying targets, and aiding in assassination missions. It also has advanced capabilities, since it was originally used to assassinate famous and well known Palestinian resistance figures, especially from Hamas and Jihad.

Israel received this sophisticated plane from the U.S., part of the latter military aid to the Jewish state endorsed by the U.S. Senate.
