According to data collected by the Quds press, there were more than 3,250 Israeli occupation forces (IOF) violations of the ceasefire announced last February between Israel and the Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas during Sharm Al Sheikh peace summit.

"Those violations caused the martyrdom of 14 Palestinians and the injury of 210 others while 433 were arrested, including children, and 490 cases of shooting with live ammunition, 840 cases of storming cities and towns, installation of 600 checkpoints, and the confiscation of thousands of dunums (1 dunum = 1,000 square meter) of Palestinian farming lands were registered", according to the data.

Meanwhile, Israeli military sources said that the truce might not last long, however, it will remain intact until implementing the Israeli Gaza pullout plan, scheduled to start this summer.

"The ceasefire serves the interests of the Palestinians; they are interested to see the Israeli evacuation of Gaza Strip implemented and to hold the upcoming legislative elections on time," senior Israeli officer said.

"There are big possibilities of renewed confrontations between us and the Palestinians in the West Bank after the Gaza pullout if we continue the expansion of settlements, but we hope that the withdrawal from the Strip will create a positive atmosphere to maintain the calming down," he added.

Meanwhile, Palestinian sources said that the Israeli authorities are planning to flatten 90 Palestinian houses in the occupied Jerusalem, which will leave at least 800 Palestinians homeless.

The decision coincides with recently revealed Israeli vicious plans to force the Jerusalemites out of the town in an attempt to Judaize it.

The occupation authorities have already handed notices to several Jerusalem resident stating the demolition of their homes under the usual rubric that they were illegally built.

The houses' owners called on the PA and the concerned legal societies to immediately intervene and stop the Israeli arbitrary measures exercised against the Palestinian victims.
