Mogadishu, London– 26th of April 2005, The Shabelle Media Network (SMN), television and radio broadcasting station based in Mogadishu, Somalia, is pleased to announce the official launching of the Shabelle Satellite Television, which broadcasts via satellite. The television broadcasting covers every single part of Africa, Asia and Australia in the initial stage. This is part of the network’s ongoing development and expansion process, which will soon be followed the project final face of to cover Europe and North America round the clock, in the digital technology era.
We the Shabelle Media Network are very happy the response from our audience/viewers world wide, particularly our radio transmission through satellite, shortwave and FM, twenty four hours. Because of their positive response and encouragement, the Shabelle Media Network has taken such remarkable step to broadcast its television worldwide via satellite and we thank to them.
The Shabelle Radio/Television broadcasts live from all over the country, while the people in every single city and village through out the Somalia could view our television. As result the Shabelle Media Network television is the only Somali TV which broadcast entire nation at the same time.
